wanderlust and coronavirus

But, it also hurts to know that us wander-lovers can't travel right now. However, this is the least of my concerns, it definitely makes the list. My full-time job is to travel the world and plan out travel trips. Without being able to travel, it is natural that my income has decreased just like most people in the world at this time.

I follow the news every day and with each passing day that this virus disrupts natural life, I grow sad. Traveling is not just my job, it is who I am. I long to see the sights, I have not seen.
I wanted to travel the United States during the Summer months. Learning that this pandemic may last until August, is devastating.

My list for the United States is:
1. Nashville, TN (praying to be able to go in July)
2. Philadelphia, PA (My parents live here. I have visited once but long to go back to see the city they call home.)
3. Los Angles, CA (Blog post and Vlog on YouTube will definetly be coming to you if I have an opportunity to travel while it is still hot.)

It's a short list for the U.S.A. but I am a very busy girl. So, what am I doing to pass the time of not traveling?

Working on other projects! I am applying myself to seek and grow in different areas of my life. Now is the time to start that Udemy course you have wanted to take. Make a YouTube channel and learn how YouTube can bring revenue into your life. Learn more about your significant other. Spend time in God's word. Read that book you've been dying to read. Do something other than staying bored and constantly watching the news.

All of this social distancing and quarantining can make you stressed, sad, and even depressed. You have to train your mind to focus on self-development items in times like this. It helps to focus on the future when the world is crashing down.

Very soon, life will go back to normal and our wanderlust hearts will be filled again. Waiting on that moment.
For those of us like me who enjoy traveling the world every second we get, it can be hard to just sit back while the world faces a pandemic. This situation is tragic. It hurts to see so many people loose their income because the world is facing a crises. It hurts to know there are families out their who have a loved one on their death bed who they can't go see because hospitals are limiting visitors at this time and they may not be able to say goodbye. It hurts that there are people stuck in places of the world they were visiting and can't find a flight or way back to their own home and might be running out of vacation money.
