I have been lucky enough to visit Paris multiple times and every time is just as magical as the last. I was planning on re-visiting Paris for my birthday this year but unfortunately, I had to postpone due to COVID-19. Paris is packed full of incredible things to do so I have put together a list of 10 bucket list worthy things to do while in Paris. #1 Watch the sunset over Paris from the top of the Eiffel tower.Climbing to the top of the Eiffel tower no matter what time of day is going to be incredible but watching the sunset over Paris is truly magical! I recommend booking your tickets online in advance so that you don't have to queue for as long once you get there. Tickets are 19,70€ or 25,90€ an adult depending if you want to get the lift the whole way or just part way. The official website for the Eiffel Tower: Click here. #2 See the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. Even just seeing the Louvre is worth being on your bucket list but I highly recommend going in and having a look around the museum. Once again, I would recommend booking your tickets online as you don’t have to queue for as long, but if you don’t mind queueing for a while you can get your tickets for €15 instead of the online price of €17. The official website for the Louvre Museum: Click here. #3 Eat macarons at Ladurée.
#4 Climb the Notre Dame towers to see the beautiful view of Paris.
#5 Shop along the iconic Champs-Elysées. #6 Walk up the stairs to the Sacré-Cœur. The Sacré-Cœur is the second most visited landmark in Paris, and there is a good reason for that, not only is it absolutely beautiful, the view from it is just as beautiful. It only costs €5 to go to the top of the Sacré-Cœur. Address: 35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, 75018 Paris, France #7 Drink French Champagne on a dinner cruise of the river Seine. #8 Take a day trip to Disneyland.Disney fan or not, Disneyland is a must when visiting Paris. With two theme parks full of a range of different rides and some unique to the Paris location, it’s ONLY a 37 minute train journey from Paris! Train tickets start at €7.60 from Paris to Disney, and day tickets to the park start at just £52.51. #9 eat freshly baked pain au chocolats and |
